The next Nexus 7 arrives in May

Asus is hard at work to bring Google's next Nexus 7.

Asus and Google would work this time on the successor to the Nexus 7. The device could be launched at the conference Google I / O in May.

The rumor is obviously born in China, according to DigiTimes, citing sources "from the supply chain." Needless to say, this information should be taken with a grain of salt ...

It is true that the Nexus 7 has sold well, with sales of close to 10 million units. Asus and Google would then decide whether to renew this successful partnership.

Engineering samples for a Nexus 7 "second generation" have apparently been around networks of Asian suppliers. According to this rumor, the new device would be offered at the same price as the previous one.

Consumers can be expected, for the same price, a Full HD 1080p display and a design "industrial"

The article also mentions an operating system Android 4.2 or 4.3, but this is pure speculation at the moment.

It is unlikely that Google or Asus introduces a new Nexus at MWC at the end of the month. The two giants certainly prefer to wait for the Google I / O
